The Technical Writer's role is to communicate technical system information to a globally distributed service desk team who operate and maintain a broad range of website applications and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
- Acquire knowledge about product and system usage and technical troubleshooting from subject matter experts.
- Gather, analyze and verify technical information, such as system designs, illustrations, reports, equipment and test specifications.
- Design the logic and content for knowledge objects, workflows, scripts and documents to fulfill support requirements.
- Interact with stakeholders to understand technical problems and challenges with product usage.
- Interact with stakeholders to seek clarifications and update content as per support requirements and user expectations.

Se requiere:

- Post-secondary degree in technical communications field or related degree
- Minimum of three years of experience in technical writing and editing
- Experience organizing and maintaining knowledgebase content
- Proven ability to work independently as well as to thrive as a member of a large-scale, cross-departmental team
- Knowledge of document management best practices
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and the role that documentation plays in the operation of high volume transactional websites
- Strong English (verbal and written) and general communication skills.
- Willing to travel up to 25% of the time.
