Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and operate IT services in support of overall IT service availability objectives
- Advanced troubleshooting in support of Major Incident and Problem Management processes
- Design, deploy, day-to-day operation and advanced troubleshooting of:
- Multi-organizational Active Directory setup
- Microsoft Windows platforms in all computing environments, including Production, Test, Development, Contact Centres, and offices
- MS Exchange servers for a multi-organizational setting. Other Exchange duties include performance tuning, data store management, backup/recovery and other related tasks.
- Microsoft services such as WSUS, RIS, DHCP, DNS, ISA, IIS, DFS, etc.
- Service delivery optimization initiatives such as desktop and application virtualization
- Develop, implement, and document the following standardized practices:
- Creation of "gold" images for consistent and repeatable server systems builds
- Large-scale desktop systems and applicati

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in a Windows Systems Administration role
- Solid working knowledge and experience of:
- MS Windows Servers 2003 and newer, MS Windows XP/Vista/7
- Active Directory and LDAP
- Exchange 2003 and newer
- Storage management, including SAN and DAS
- High availability Windows server clustering solutions
- Integration of services in a multi-platform environment, including Linux and Mac OS X
- TCP/IP and associated services (e.g., DNS, DHCP, WINS)
- Additional Windows Services (WSUS, RIS, ISA, IIS, EFS, DFS, CA)
- High availability MS SQL Server configuration
- Enterprise-grade PC desktop and server hardware
- Working knowledge of server, desktop, and application virtualization technologies
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills, including event log parsing and working in Windows registries
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
