Reporting to the Managing Director of the plant, the candidate will have the following responsibilities:
* Set up, implement and monitor the project planning process, and after construction, the annual process.
* Monitor & control the (project) budget, including cash management.
* Develop, implement and monitor F&C (project) policies (a.o. authorization structure).
* Ensure reliable (project) administration & reporting structure, in line with the company and local regulations (e.g. pay roll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable).
* Ensure approval of local annual statement and coordination with external auditor.
* Advise management on F&C aspects, investments etc. and coordinate related processes.
* Manage the balance sheet & cash flows, local funding, exposures and bank relations.
* Ensure local tax-compliance, relations with local tax authorities and the tax declaration.
* Identify project & business risks for the organisation and prepares ands executes a mitigation plan.

Functional requirements & competencies:
- Academic education, preferably in the financial area.
- Minimum of 5-8 years working experience:
* Preferably 2-3 years in project controlling, construction[-][-]projects in (harbor) industry and/or experience in (international)[-]auditing company.
- Experience in international companies (preferably in Spain).
- Excellent & fluent English & Spanish verbal & writing skills.
- Knowledge of applicable international, Spanish and local legislation & regulations.
- Experience in working with/in Joint Ventures is a pre.
- Computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Persistence, drive, self-motivation, team player, hands-on, accurate and disciplined.
- Strong personality with great communication skills.
- High level of integrity and pro-active.
- Energetic and enthusiastic.
- In possession and active use of driving license and car.
