* To work with managers to ensure compliance with employment legislation and Company policies and procedures.
* To act as an ambassador for the HR function.
* To provide HR consultancy to the business.
* To champion HR initiatives across the business.
* To drive the implementation of organisational wide initiatives within relevant business area, including Talent Management, Performance Management and annual review.

- Proven experience in an HR generalist role preferable within a multi-site and global environment.
- Excellent up-to-date employment law knowledge.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Previous experience in handling sensitive employee relations and dismissal situations.
- Previous experience of HR databases (PeopleSoft desirable).
- A good team player with the ability to work on own initiative.
- Well organised and disciplined with regard to the application of HR policy, procedures and standards.
- Good oral and written communications with the ability to pay attention to detail.
- The ability to set priorities and be flexible in a changing environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel essential.
